As I told Dr Aurora I will be seeing my 29th specialist in 4 years and I'm not happy about that. But I said to her that tells you how many doctors I've seen in my lifetime and that she is only the second doctor and I trust 100% with absolutely no fears! She is so knowledgeable but at the same time she has such a gentle manner and hugged me when she saw me and hugged me when she said goodbye and doctors don't see the value in that. It sets you at ease, it makes you feel comfortable and you trust what the doctor is saying. In addition she fully described what my issue was for me. I just can't say enough about her. I had seen her 3 years ago and then she discharged me after a year because she changed my medications and I got better. But I told her I wanted to continue seeing her as a cardiologist! But she said she's one of 3000 doctors in the country that does heart transplants and she just can't keep cardiac patients and that's sad for me! I truly adore her and have never heard anything but glowing things about her from staff and other patients! In addition I had to have two cardiac tests scheduled up at Hartford Hospital and I was shocked that within a half an hour of getting home they were calling me to schedule it! I guess doctor Aurora gets things done I wish all doctors were like that!

Dr. Arora demonstrated why she is an expert in her field. Her office provided me with a quick appointment once my diagnosis was confirmed. Dr. Arora reviewed all my previous diagnostic tests before I arrived (something I don't see too often anymore) did a thorough examination, was empathetic, answered all my questions with patience and did not rush through the appointment. I was awed by the entire team of professionals that interacted with me. I highly recommend this practice and doctor to anyone with advanced cardiac issues.

Dr. Aurora put me and my wife at easy immediately, as she explained the type of Amyloid I had. She spent over an hour answer all our questions and explaining the changes she was going to make in my medications and the purpose and effect of each.
