Dr. K is an amazing and caring oncologist who avidly listens and responds to my questions about any concern I may have. I spoke to her about some swelling I had in an extremity. She examined it and explained that I should contact her if the issue reoccurs and the frequency of it. Dr. K assured me that the issue did not arise from my medication nor was it a symptom of a new diagnostic cause. I have praised Dr. K to my friends who have supported me about how wonderful and charismatic she is.

The test results which I provided via mychart were new to her and were not previously reviewed. My diagnosis was by an immunologist, internist, & hemotologist who is a stem cell expert in FL. She was unfamiliar with the Guardant 360 test and treatment protocol he is using and said she'd do some research and would be happy to support me in CT if she better understood the research supporting his treatment. She did order a CBC and Metabolic Panel which evidenced a sharp rise in my ALP again which we know from prior testing has been associated with bone origin. A specific tumor has not been identified through traditional testing. However, cancer has been detected in my bloodstream through Guardant 360.
